    A: The thickness of ink will effect the flow of ink when writing, recommend depends on how fast you're writing and sometimes in the weather, humidity etc., For a beginner we recommend the NAHARI-Regular flow.

    A: If used (you put them on) already as RASHI is not allowed by halacha to change them to RABEINU-TAM. if not, check at the end of "vehoyu im shamo'a" if there a space of 9 letters till the end (the last shura should be shorter then the upper shura's) then you are probably allowed to change,but best will be if you can ask your local rav.
